About

I have always drawn. My parents nurtured my interests in art from an early age. I spent a lot of my pre teen through early teen Saturdays at an art teachers house. At 15 I started skateboarding and that changed my life. I saw cool artwork, I saw culture, I saw tattoos. After high school I decided to pursue art seriously and enrolled in art school. I studied figure drawing and oil painting for a couple of years. My interest in tattoos had grown and by 1993 I had started tattooing. I worked in Chicago with some great people up until October of 2000. I have been in Portland ever since. I now co-own Oddball Studios. I paint and make art regularly, I usually do a few art shows a year. I enjoy making tattoo machines but only do it occasionally now. I still ride a skateboard. I love classical Indian music and I study Tabla. I spend my free time with my wife and daughter, they are my inspiration.
