MR KILBY

Mr Kilby is the father of some kids that got some tattoos. Found at Sang Bleu

How many tattoos did you roughly get when you were younger?

About eight… I did tattoo myself once though. Myself, my brother, my cousin and friend one night bought some Indian ink and pins and scratched the word love into our knuckles and rubbed the ink in on our left hands. We were all sitting around the table doing it and by the end of the night out fingers looked like sausages. Most of it stayed in and you could make out what it said up to twenty years later. So I suppose I got nine tattoos then. I recently had that covered up with HOLD FAST though.

Couple new things.

So spring is around the corner, change is a coming. I am in the process of becoming the only owner of Oddball,  Jeff is moving to sunnier pastures come fall.  I am outta my skin excited with the changes happening, lots of good plans for the future. I feel like I’m in the fortunate position to be able to start over, like from scratch. It’s not often we get second chances in life and I feel lucky to have this one! I have some new images to post here, fresh tattoos and  a couple healed ones. I love tattoos!!!!! Thanks for looking,

Motorhead!

A healed one.

thanks to you guys, these tattoos were fun!

Sweet home Chicago

We are in the Chicago area for the holidaze, we went to the Art Institute and got to see some incredible art. We only had a limited time to browse but it was mind blowing. I love Portland but the museum doesn’t compare to Chicago’s. When I lived in Chicago I spent a lot of time at the museum, brought back some good memories. If you ever get the chance, go check out this museum.

Summer time fun!

Looking forward to a long weekend away with the family. Love the northwest for that. Camping up in northern Washington for the first time.
Got my motorcycles squared away this weekend, thinking about selling the Honda cl350. Hit me up anyone has any interest.
Enjoy summer, it’s almost over.

Transitions

It seems as though a lot of things are changing all around us. I too am entering a new phase and I am excited to see what the future holds for me. I generally disappear in the summer because I enjoy being outside, being with my family and enjoying this life. This summer will be no different although I do intend to be more proactive here with thoughts, ideas and photos of work. I just turned 40 and have been tattooing for 20 years. There have been some changes at the shop and there will be more in the future. These are all good and necessary things. I look forward to working harder and in a more focused way for what I hope to be the next 20 years of my life. I hope to see you all in the future. Ride fast, work hard, play harder and hold tight, life passes quickly.
