It’s not just about efficiency; it’s about what you do with the savings. Even if it doesn’t generate more CO2 under a carbon tax regime, a dollar spent may be giving another environmental scab, eating up more biodiversity, causing more land degradation and using more water. What should we be doing as individuals?
